ReSEL’s multidisciplinary team of specialised scientists and researchers possesses extensive experience and knowledge in the Renewable and Sustainable Energy field. The laboratory’s projects are supported by the appropriate high-end facilities and technology tools. Our team members have developed expertise and accumulated a highly competent know-how in managing EU-funded projects (Horizon2020, Intelligent Energy, Interreg, COST, FP5, FP6, FP7, LEONARDO, MED, LIFE, ERASMUS, etc) and national contracts (structural funds, private contracts, public investment programme).
ReSEL team has been involved in more than 50 as coordinators and more than 80 participating as experts; mainly concerning the:
- development of methods to transfer innovative technologies of Renewable Sources of Energy and Energy Saving (industry, buildings, transport)
- minimization of environmental impact from the realization and operation of large technical works
- management and technicoeconomic analysis of innovative environmentally-friendly energy applications
- preparation to entry of new energy and transport technologies, in the market
- development of appropriate transnational training methodologies and training material for trainers and technical staff
- professional training in the fields of RES technology, Sustainable building and RES integration, Sustainable Mobility
- planning and implementation of educational and dissemination activities on energy, transport and environment
ReSEL team has established strong relationships with the RES market throughout Europe and efficient collaboration with the main European RES networks and organizations.
