The ReSEL student team has been awarded with international prizes, such as:
- Mondialogo Engineering Award 2006-2007 (a partnership initiated by Daimler and UNESCO)
- 2nd Award in Int. Contest for Solar Car Design, organised by the Hellenic Institute of Electric Vehicles
- The project “Autonomous biodiesel production in rural areas of Cameroon” was among a total of 769 projects from 111 nations rewarded with the ENERGY GLOBE Award 2008 (the world award for sustainability)
