Webinar “Independent Assessment of Energy Efficiency Building Renovations”

The Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems Lab of the Technical University of Crete, member of the Trust EPC South European initiative consortium, presented one of the pilot case studies from Greece developed according to the TRUST EPC South benchmarking and standardised investments assessment framework, during the webinar “Independent Assessment of Energy Efficiency Building Renovations – the GREPCon service”, which was held on 1st February 2018, 11:00 CET. The number of participants reached 115, among them stakeholders interested in energy efficiency renovations in tertiary sector buildings, such as Energy Service Companies, financial institutions, as well as tertiary sector businesses and organisations, interested in improving their buildings’ energy efficiency.

During the webinar, the following topics were presented:

  • Energy Efficiency and Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) market opportunities in Europe, and as well in participating southern European countries (Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain).
  • GREPCon, a service that provides a standardized and independently verified approach to the identification and quantification of energy efficiency measures in tertiary sector buildings, certified by Bureau Veritas.
  • Case study from the hotel sector in Greece.
